Meet The Doctor

Dr. Lori C. Cho

Dr. Lori C. Cho was raised in Torrance, Southern California.  She graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Cellular Biology Department in 1995.  Dr. Cho then spent two years doing research at DNAX in Palo Alto, CA, one of Schering-Plough’s research centers before she decided to go to a dental school.

From childhood, art and science have always been Dr. Cho’s favorite subjects.  She appreciates beautiful artistic works and enjoys drawings and paintings.  Science, on the other hand, inspires and challenges her and she gets fulfillment in the process of finding answers.  It is no wonder she chose the dental profession as her career, because to her, dentistry is a field where science and art are well-integrated.

Dr. Cho graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1999. After graduating from Harvard, she decided to go back to Southern California to live closer to her parents.  She has worked as an associate dentist in a large group practice about 15 years in Southern California until her family decided to move up to a bay area in 2015.  After her family has settled in San Jose area, Dr. Cho has worked with her sister who has a private dental office in South San Jose.  Dr. Cho has now joined our practice.

Dr. Cho is a family-oriented person with a 9 years old daughter.  She likes spending time with her daughter and her husband together whenever she can.  They go ice skating together since her daughter loves ice skating.  Dr. Cho has taught herself crocheting amigurumis (stuff toys) for her daughter.  Now those have become her and her daughter’s precious collections.  On her free time, she enjoys painting with water colors and acrylics.
